Player-friendly
-Civilian and Social builder no longer build anything in common with each other. Not like it's a restriction, since they can switch anytime for free to the other type.
-The building positions in their build menus were re-organized, from the most necessary builds (top) to the least ones (bottom).
-Council and Bookshelf now have real explicit one-line-purpose (the yellow "summary" at the top of a building's tooltip, in the construction menu of the builder).
Mechanisms
-Fixed a potential bug with items during footman morph.
-Much improved code for bag extension:
It is now much more efficient (less lag),
No longer drops items in the process,
Returns a better error message if it fails.
It also no longer leaves some strange black dust on the floor (or anything else).
-Bag extension now adds an utility belt around your unit's waist the first time you use it.
Wonders
-They are now actually restricted, to 1 per type and per game.
That means whenever one is finished, noone (including the one who built it) can build it anymore, even if it has been destroyed.
-They now display a fancy warning message to all players when someone starts building one, but not mentioning which type of Wonder.
That gives them a chance to stop the construction before it is complete.
-There is also a success message when they are done, mentioning who built it, and the type.
-Wonders use orange colorcode.
Humans
-Village center food costs reworked (increases with upgrades) and stats rebalanced.
-Blacksmith now requires food (equal to 1 civilian inside, preparing the gears) when specializing.
-Like all buildings costing food because they are occupied by (a) manager(s), it will release that civilian upon being destroyed.
Darkness
-Rebalanced stygian avatar's mana: spawns full, no regen.
-Much improved stygian colossus' description. It now clearly states that it's a wonder, and has a roleplay text.
-Ball of Pure Darkness: reduced Unending damage duration to 1 day on heroes, 2 days on units.
-Dutchman foodcost now scales from 6 to 10.
-Cursed ground renamed into blight (...), all Darkness buildings now regenerate 6 hp/second if they are over it.
This does include flying dutchmen, and does not include human soups (2hp/sec always, but they are the ones spreading the blight anyways.)
Nature
-The animal-related incarnate for nature renamed into Beast incarnate.
Science
-Prison now costs 4 food and requires Darkness techtree.
Start:
-3 social builders now replace 3 civilians in the starting units.
This will help people to realize that they are just civilians who switched to the second page of their building menu.
They will also notice all the buildings they can get without techtrees, and understand faster how to get techtrees.
King (hero) stats:
-Totally reworked, they now go as follow:
*Main stat gives 1 damage per point (1.5 damage before)
*Strength gives 10 hp, 0.10 hp regen per point (regen increased)
*Agility gives 1% movement speed, 1% attack speed and 0.10 armor per point (armor increased)
*Intelligence gives 1.5 mana, 0.02 mana regen per point (both decreased, but mana is overall worth more in this version).
-Non-hero stats of heroes were re-synchronized with the unit they are based off
For example, chieftain is the hero equal of a footman, his base hp was reset to 600.
Mana overhaul:
-All manapools were divided equally to much lower numbers, for technical reasons.
-Spells: since manacosts are reworked aswell to ensure the same quantity of spell usage as before, it doesnt matter much.
-Mana regens were relatively increased.
-Fixed alot of uncoherent stats on the way.
-Phalanxing and unphalanxing (shield ability) no longer cost mana.
-Devour now costs 5 mana.
Environment:
-You can no longer build over gems, even though nothing tells you they are there.
This will be improved later by hints of some sort, but for now, just send a gem detecting unit (engineer/naturalist) there if you think there is a bug.
From the positive point of view, it's a new way to find them.
Interface and balance
-Infantry (and Warlord-King) base regen is now 1.25hp/sec.
-Defense damage reduction multiplier is now 0.02 instead of 0.03 per point.
-Building decay time reduced to 90 secs (now same as unit and item decays)
-Tauren shock nerfed in both % chance and damage.
Commands:
-They are now all displayed in the quest menu, and better presented.
-Changed command for Revealed map mode to -rm.
The text displayed ingame for that was also improved.
-Arbiter mode now gives player red infinite resources (might be cancelled if abuses are reported).
