Global Warming?

I don't understand what global warming does other than lowering Eywa's mana regen.

In 0.39 there are way less trees and here's a screenshot of me hitting 41 degrees Celsius

Note: This was done after the game finished (humans won) I was the only one left in the game.

Wait wait... on that screenshot... are the total trees less than the ones alive?
Also, there was a case when the regrowing trees were a negative number. I didn't see it myself though, a guy told me.
Edit: The secondary objective on your multiboard too ends at "and support"?

Well it does that, and screws up Avatars pretty badly too. While trees give eywa mana, it gives alot more to Avatars, remember. With no more shield and puffball supplies what can they do?...
Last benefit: mankes all targets easier to shoot, they can't hide anymore.

Though this is an old mechanism and it creates alot of lag when it gets strong, and until most trees are gone. I'm not sure i'll even keep it.

EDIT: noticed the text length on multiboard, okay i'll fix that. It seems U.S version uses wider fonts than mine and Bane's.

EDIT2: trees alive... okay will look into that too.

I see, what I thought was the temperature can effect the speed of regrowing trees, possibly acid rain, small dps on living things, more so on flying organic units and such.

Just trying to relate to real life global warming, as it deeply effects the environment and the animals living in it.
