That's... pretty roughly calculated. If corps are at the max of their firepower I doubt any avatar could stop em :/

StarCraft 2. It's supposed to make war3... explode,die,instadestroy etc
And it comes out July 27th, I think.

Actually i believe a fair share of players will stay on war3.
Thing is, SC2 could have just kept all the good from w3 and improved it, but naaaaah.

Instead, they totally remixed the thing, removed LAN altogether, removed chat channels, reduced amount of cliff levels to 3 or 4 max and made cliff level 0 unwalkable, made the editor ultra complicated at the same time they made it more powerful on most aspects, they also separated the game in 3 parts, and each part is super expensive. Plus other facts.

So war3 will probably not be banished into oblivion by SC2 anytime soon.

Although I too believed war3 wouldn't die at the moment sc2 is released but by the end of the year the players will be alot less than atm.

Well I think like this:

Starcraft 2 can be f*cking awesome to some people, rocks Warcraft 3 and blah blah blah... But, although I LOVE Modern Warfare stuff, sometimes I just want to play Medieval Maps, and, for what I've seen in some... ALOT screenshots, It's very hard to make a Medieval Map...
So I guess I'll stay on Warcraft III, and anyways, Blizzard is already announced that they will make Warcraft IV, and it was confirmed(at least I think it was), so I might not buy Starcraft II so soon, or not even buy it...

Anyways, german100: I think that the Humans are a bit stronger, if not attacked in the early game. I mean, in the new versions, the RDA are getting even more awesome.

haven't heard anything 'bout Warcraft IV yet, but ima check it out. Still, I'll pay a visit to SC2 too for sure.
Agreed, if given time, corps can become pwnage (especially with those MLRS and Mantises) but there's always a tactic to beat them, for the avatars.

I doubt Blizzard will release WC4 since the storyline is technically finished. Archimonde is long dead, illidan's also dead. Except that Arthas is the new lich king, which is adressed in WoW. I don't see how the storyline would continue...

Also Blizzard still has two expansions of SC2 to worry about; Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void, it'll take them a while to get them done.

ON Topic: You can't really decide unless you've played with a fh of at least decent players. 75% of the players in each game after dlers with no clue what to do. I can imagine all 4 avatars constantly harassing while microing their wisp to build up a decent army, not forgeting Eywa with additional support.

And storyline is never a problem. They can make something up anytime.
And yeah, I just played as avatar some and realized they are real good at annoying and terrorizing. So depending on the strategies, both sides can win.
