Kil'Jaeden, as we've seen, can cast Holocaust about 1.5 mins into the game. Perhaps during the three minute setup he should have a debuff that give him -20 mana/sec that says "Kil'Jaeden is using all of his power to bring the Colossi to earth" or something liek that.

Hmm... Kil'Jaeden can't use all of his power since it's unlimited.
"Your mind will be the only limit to your powers" - Sargeras to Archimonde, Velen and Kil'Jaeden.
Or atleast it was something like that.
But the idea is good. He is using some of his mana to summon the colossi.

So perhaps "all of his concentration"? I mean, the Burning Legion DOES lose WC3, so obviously they aren't infinitely powerful (on Azeroth, at least).

They aren't infinitely powerrful.
Their mind is their limit. And Archimonde was too confident because of that and it lead to his death.

So basically Archimonde thought he is the smartest but he wasn't so he was killed by the Night Elfs right?

He thought that the Night Elves are weeeeaaaak and it's not worth to waste time and worry about his life lol...
As I said he was too confident... And he is silly to underestimate the night elves, the first users of magic! (even though I don't like them... cowards...) Very Happy

Well I'm not sure what exactly happened but this is what I think:
Since Archimonde is a summoned unit and the wisps can blow up to do damage to summoned guys, they just did this and killed him... yeah...
And since Archimonde drained some of the power of the World Tree AND the Wisps were gone, the night elves lost their immortality.

And here's what I found:
As Archimonde attempted to drain the World Tree, Malfurion raised the Horn of Cenarius and called out to the ancestral guardians. Thousands of wisps rose from the surrounding forests and amassed around Archimonde, detonating in a massive explosion that destroyed the demon warlock and incinerated the forests around the World Tree; nature herself would not allow his defilement to occur. While the World Tree would eventually heal itself in time, Archimonde was gone forever.

Yeah like u told me some time ago.
Ok I can think of an idea for a new map that is connected with those stuff but with cooler things.
Like:
- the fight won't be for the World Tree. It'll be for something else.
- Archimonde can fight not with minions but with K J and other stuff like that.(Archimonde AND K J not Archimonde VS K J)

That is interesting but it's too simple.
What about:
Archimonde, Kil'Jaeden, Velen, Cenarius and Illidan (eredars non-corrupted) versus Sargeras?
Sargeras would command the Legion and the others will have Eredars, Draenei and Night Elves.
And the fight would be for... hmm... Not the World Tree... Then what? The Well of Eternity? Supremacy?
Well if it's Supremacy then if the good guys win against Sargeras, they should have a FFA...
Although Archimonde versus Kil'Jaeden would be epic. Even though Archimonde was the brawn and Kil'Jaeden was always the arcane one.
It would be funny if Archimonde had a spell "punch" that ultimately stuns Very Happy
